Effective date: May 19, 2026 Canonical URL: https://app.buildmyonlinestore.com/privacy

Overview

BuildMyOnlineStore, also called BMOS, provides storefront, catalog, buy button, checkout, marketing feed, and agentic commerce tools. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to merchants, customers, storefront visitors, and AI agents that interact with BMOS services.

This policy applies to app.buildmyonlinestore.com, BMOS public feeds, embedded BMOS buy buttons, checkout and order workflows powered by BMOS, and merchant-facing BMOS tools. Storefront owners may publish additional policies for their own websites, products, fulfillment, refunds, and customer support.

Information We Collect

Account and authentication information

When a merchant or team member signs in, we may receive account information from GFAVIP or another authentication provider, such as user ID, email address, display name, session token metadata, and team membership details.

Storefront and catalog information

Merchants may provide store names, domains, product titles, descriptions, images, SKUs, prices, inventory details, checkout settings, feed settings, policy URLs, catalog relationships, and other information needed to operate a storefront.

Checkout and order information

When a customer, merchant, or AI agent starts checkout, BMOS may process product IDs, quantities, checkout session IDs, selected payment rail, customer contact details, shipping or fulfillment information, order state, transaction metadata, and webhook delivery status.

Agentic commerce information

BMOS may process agent domain information, public feed requests, machine checkout requests, buyer agent identifiers, customer domains, conversation IDs, wallet addresses, and other fields submitted to support agentic commerce workflows.

Technical and usage information

We may collect log data such as IP address, browser or client type, referring page, request path, timestamps, error events, embedded button events, API usage, and device or network metadata. We may use cookies, sessions, local storage, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, protect accounts, measure service performance, and improve the product.

How We Use Information

  • Provide, operate, secure, and improve BMOS services.
  • Create and manage merchant storefronts, catalogs, feeds, buy buttons, checkout sessions, and orders.
  • Authenticate users, manage sessions, and support team access.
  • Publish public product feeds, public offer data, and machine-readable commerce metadata when a merchant enables those features.
  • Connect merchant storefronts to checkout, domain, catalog, analytics, deployment, and marketplace services selected by the merchant.
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, security incidents, service errors, and policy violations.
  • Communicate with merchants about account activity, product updates, support, billing, and operational notices.
  • Comply with legal, tax, accounting, security, and regulatory obligations.

Public Feeds and Storefront Data

BMOS is designed to make selected commerce data discoverable to humans, search engines, marketplaces, and AI agents. If a merchant enables public storefront, public offer, Google feed, agentic store, or BMOS buy button features, selected product and storefront information may become publicly accessible.

Public data may include store name, storefront ID, product IDs, SKUs, titles, descriptions, images, prices, currency, availability, inventory state, product URLs, agent domain, checkout capabilities, and other merchant-configured metadata. Merchants are responsible for reviewing what they publish through BMOS feeds and storefront embeds.

How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers and integrations as needed to operate BMOS, including authentication, hosting, database, checkout, payment, domain, catalog, email, analytics, fraud prevention, deployment, and merchant-selected marketplace or commerce integrations.

Examples of integrations may include GFAVIP authentication, checkout/payment providers, HeadlessDomains domain services, catalog or storefront data providers, Shopify, deployment platforms, and merchant-selected third-party tools. The exact integrations used can vary by merchant configuration.

We may also disclose information if required by law, legal process, security investigation, protection of rights, business transfer, or to enforce BMOS agreements and policies.

Payment and Wallet Information

BMOS may store merchant payment rail settings and wallet addresses needed for agentic checkout configuration. Payment card, banking, blockchain, or checkout details may also be processed by third-party checkout or payment providers. Those providers may have their own privacy policies and security practices.

Data Retention

We keep information for as long as needed to provide BMOS services, maintain storefronts and order records, resolve disputes, comply with legal and accounting obligations, prevent fraud, and enforce agreements. Merchants may request deletion or export of eligible account and storefront information, subject to operational, legal, and security limits.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is perfectly secure, and BMOS cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or loss will never occur.

Your Choices

  • Merchants can update storefront, catalog, feed, checkout, wallet, and policy settings inside BMOS.
  • Merchants can disable or modify public feed and agentic commerce features where the app provides controls.
  • Users can log out to end an active browser session.
  • Users may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or export of eligible personal information.
  • Browser settings may allow users to block or clear cookies, though some BMOS features may stop working correctly.

Children's Privacy

BMOS is intended for merchants, businesses, developers, and commerce users. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

International Use

BMOS may be used by merchants, customers, and agents in different countries. Information may be processed in the United States or other locations where BMOS or its service providers operate. By using BMOS, users understand that information may be transferred and processed outside their country of residence.

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the effective date on this page. Continued use of BMOS after an update means the updated policy applies.
